PLANNEDOfficial Tracks are only the start. Too Slow Again is designed for players to build their own: make Tracks, chain them into Circuits, race each other's times and play them together.
The Track Editor and community features are planned. We'll share more as they get closer.
Track Editor
Assemble a challenge, not a map.
Create a Track inside the game, play it immediately, iterate, validate and publish — no external tools. Creating a good Track should feel closer to assembling a challenge than to building a traditional FPS map.
- Floors, walls & corridors
- Stairs & platforms
- Doors & windows
- Cover
- Player & team spawns
- Hostiles
- Hostile technology

Same building blocks
What you build is what you play.
The editor uses the same building blocks as our own Tracks. Sketch the plan, drop in enemies and objectives, and play it a second later.
The creator loop
- Create
- Test
- Publish
- Players discover it
- Records & Ghosts
- Build a Circuit
- Competition
- New content
Circuit Editor
Chain Tracks into one long fight against the clock.
- Pick Tracks and set the order
- Total-time scoring
- Retry rules
- Allowed team sizes & Co-op
- Title, description, tags & art
- Test from start to finish, then publish
Community
Browse. Click. Play.
Sharing is native to Too Slow Again. Open Community, pick a Track, it downloads, you play. No mod installation for a level.
- Ratings & favourites
- Creator profiles & follows
- Play and completion counts
- Leaderboards per Track version
- Reports, moderation & featured picks
Steam Workshop can sit alongside it for heavier asset packs and mods.
Fair leaderboards
Change a Track, start a new board.
Edit a published Track and it gets a fresh leaderboard, linked to the original. Nobody's time is ever compared on a Track that changed under them.
Mods
Make it yours.
Skins, models, sounds, new pieces and new rules. Mods that keep the challenge intact can stay on the leaderboards; mods that change the rules live in custom games.
