The verdict

Two words you will hear a lot.

Every Run ends one of two ways: faster than before, or not. When it's not, the game tells you. Too slow for the Track. Too slow for the soldier behind the door. Too slow for the player who drew first. No lives, no excuses, no loading screen — just the verdict, and the next attempt. That is why the game is called Too Slow Again.

The loop

Run. Fail. Retry. In under a second.

  1. 01Pick a TrackYour best time, your medals and the targets you haven't beaten yet.
  2. 3·2·1GOThe clock counts milliseconds from GO. Nothing else is scored.
  3. 02RunEliminate, destroy, retrieve, reach checkpoints — then extract.
  4. 00:42.844Read the timeRaw time plus penalties equals your final time. Every split is honest.
  5. 03“I can do that faster.”You can. You saw where the time went.
  6. ESC›ENTERRetryBack at the start in the same frame. Restarting never loads anything.

Finish a Run, press Retry before you've even thought about it. That's the game.

Anatomy of a Track

Learn it. Route it. Shave it.

A Track is one short, handcrafted combat challenge: walls, hostiles, objectives, an extraction zone and four target times. Same layout, same enemies, same timings on every Run. The only variable is you.
